When people donate to a charity they truelly expect that their donation will go directly to helping those in true need.The very sad thing is that most charities,especially the big ones who receive tons of funding,only give a small percent of those donations to those who truelly need them,on average less than 20 %,the rest of your donations go to pay for fancy storefronts,salaries&administrative costs.To us that is very sad,charities are supposed to exist to help those in true need&the fancy storefronts & selling the donated items for outragious amounts,paying employees is all a waste of donations that could help so many in need,they pay for advertising & so forth when there are so many ways to promote & advertise for free & that woudl give more money to truelly help those in need.Instead they spend a fortune & turn nearly everyone away who goes to them for help because they have no funds left available for what they are supposed to exist to do,helping those in true need.At Christmas the big charities take applications in October & most families in need miss that deadline because they don't expect it to happen before November,we receive 1000s of calls after November 1st from parents,grandparents,guardians etc who are in tears because they have missed those deadlines or are immediately turned away because there are no funds to help them.
We started our charity almsot 5 years ago to make a TRUE difference & do what a charity is truelly supposed to do,what the people who donate expect from a charity, we give 100% of EVERY donation directly to helping those in true need.We do not have a fancy storefront,no fancy advertising,paid websites,paid employees,etc we have 100% all volunteers who truelly want to help others & make a difference,we built & run our own websites on sites that are no cost,do our own promotional & advertising through free classifieds,blogs,websites etc so that every dime donated & intended to help families in crisis,need,after disasters,children all year & at Christmas,Military families,anyone in true need right here in Georgia.
You can rest assured that when you donate Real estate,land,houses,etc that home will either be given directly to a family in true need or if it is unlivable it will be sold & every cent of the proceeds will go directly to helping people in true need.this Christmas(2012) we had a burned down house donated by Ms Vikki Mount of Austrailia,the house was in downtown Atlanta & was unsalvagable but we sold it for the land & were able to provide Christmas gifts including Bicycles,Warm clothing,Coats,shoes, & food baskets to 1000s of Georgia children & their families,WHAT A BLESSING!! We have received only 2 house donations teh other was in Birmingham Alabama & we were blessed to be able to go to Birmingham & sign the home over to a young family who were living with relatives in a housing project after being left homeless by the tornados in less than 24 hours of the donation,What a BLESSING!! We also accept Boat & RV donations but those items are sold & every cent of those proceeds also go to house,feed,clothe families in need whatever the needs we have waiting are get filled. We have only had 2 vehicles donated but the 1st one was blown up & was not fixable within reasonable cost so it was sold immediately for junk price & the money went directly to help an elderly couple who had no vehicle get a vehicle to get to theri Dr appts,the grocery store & pharmacy etc & they were able to get the cancer treatment that the husband so desperately needed,teh 2nd car was given to a mother of 5 when her husband left her with no transportation & no money or job, WHAT A BLESSING..
We believe that charity means giving without expecting anything in return,including pay.It is hard work,sometimes 24/7 & I do not get paid in money ,would never want or expect that because the blessings we receive & the peoples lives we are blessed to touch & just knowing that 1 person or just a few people can make a true diffrence is worth more than any monetary amount in the world .Noone should ever start a charity who expects something in return besides blessings,getting paid to do the Lords work & help others just doesn't seem right.If you plan to donate anything at all to a charity ask them what percent of the donation will actually go toward helping those in need they are required to tell you that information.Our prayer is that someday every charity will be required to give as close to 100% of those donations to people in need,as for our charity we always have & always will give 100% of every donation directly to helping those in need & we will always report those donations to the IRS through form 990 every year even though as a Church we are not required to do so,we think that people have a right to know where their donations are going.At Christmas we even make it possible for the sponsors & donors to actually meet & work personally with the families that they adopt or sponsor & when you make a donation of any kind to our charity we will let you know if you would like exactly who & how that donation helped. We are Angels with Faith Ministries & Church a 501c3 non-profit charity who is truelly non-profit ,we pay our own gas costs to pickup & deliver donated items,are a home based charity so that we do not have to pay rent on a fancy storefront & we do all of our own website work,promotional & advertising work & never pay our volunteers.Our EIN number is 27-1972461 we are run & were founded by myself,director Lori Tuck & my husband,our Pastor ,who is a licensed & ordained Christian minister & have volunteers who work with us regularly.We have a Youth Fishing Group for at risk & disadvantage kids & teens that my husband leads,guides & directs to teach them about having fun outside in nature & enjoying Gods outdoor paradise instead of getting into trouble & staying inside playing video games& it has worked wonders with alot of at risk teens & lost kids.
we accept Real Estate donations of any kind in any condition in Georgia & the Southeast United States which is tax deductible for up to 5 years for FULL fair market value.We also accept vehicles of any kind,in any condition & pick them up free anywhere in Georgia & surrounding states as well as Boats,RVS,Motorcycles,ATVs etc & you can donate knowing for a fact that you will directly be helping families in true need & that 100% of your donation will go to helping those in true need in our country,in our state & that if you woudl like to know how & where your donation helped we will give you complete details & all donations to us are tax deductible for full fair market value.We also accept & pickup donated furniture in good condition,working appliances,household needs,toys,children&baby needs of any kind,clothing,lawnmowers,remodeling materials such as used carpet(still usable please),cabinets,flooring,paint,etc to help families remodel homes in dire need of repair,we also have a disabled Iraq veteran who is in DIRE need of a donated outside Heat/Air condensor unit & always acept any kind of heaters,air conditioners etc as well as unperishable food,gift cards for food,baby needs,necessities such as hygeine products,cleaning products etc, pet supplies, anything in good usable condition could be a treasure to a family in need.
Right now our charity/Church itself is in dire need of a donated truck,moving tupe van,van,box truck etc for picking up donated items,ours has worked hard for almost 5 years & with nearly 400000 miles on it is almost ready to quit
We are also in dire urgent need of donate dproperty for our permanant location since we have outgrown this small 2 bedroom rental home we have worked from for the past 4 1/2 years & due to lack of space & storage we have been having to turn down much needed donated items which breaks our hearts.We are praying for acreage so that we can place donated mbile home(s) to temporarily house homeless families & Military families when they come home from fighting overseas injured & have to wait for their benefits to start which can take MONTHS. Land with a pond or waterfront would be awesome for our Youth Fishing Group camp so that we do not have to transport the kids & teens to lakes to fish they can stay all day at day camp & enjoy nature,cookout & have fun.We are hoping to stay in the Northeast Georgia area,Jackson,Walton,Newton,Oconee,Madison,Clarke,Rockdale,banks,Barrow county areas or nearby there & your donation will be tax deductible for up to 5 years for the FULL value.With more space & room to house families temporarily we could help 1000s more families each year & 1000s more children each Christmas for years to come & you would be a part of that because of your donation & be helping make a difference right here in Georgia.We try not to ask for much for the charity & we pay all of our own costs but cannot afford the property we truelly need for our permanant location since we spend 1000s of dollars of our own money per week to help families & pay for gas to pickup & deliver donated items.
